Oceanian sasquatch theory

Joan Ocean was a marine biologist and new-age author of the early 70's.  Her research concerning communications between marine mammals and mankind have given rise many new age beliefs concerning our perceptions to intelligent species. Her work was published in a variety of books, such as the Dolphin Connection, in which she recorded messages that she claimed were being telepathically sent to her by the whales and dolphins that she spent so much time in the presence.  For a period of time, she hosted boat tours in which she demonstrated her ability to summon water mammals.  She went on to research a new intelligent species that has yet been confirmed by science, the Sasquatch. Her studies were refused by publishers, and her credibility as a new-age philosopher was compromised.  Despite this, her Sasquatch studies can be viewed on her privately own and operated website, Joan and the Sasquatch

Joan Ocean's theories concerning the Sasquatch species are, at least, nostalgically whimsical.  For one to adopt these beliefs, one would have to truly accept that there may be magic left in the world. However does it not make more sense for such a mysterious creature to have mysterious origins?


Her account links many possible explanations for why they continue to elude mankind's knowledge.

• Live beneath our vast forest regions in well-lit underground facilities.
• Have civilized our world in junction with other races of 'Star People' here for far longer than mankind
